So you guys i'm back! For a whole month of februray Kathi and me were traveling from Melbourne to Cairns. We started our Melbourne visit with the Great Ocean Road and one thing is absoluty clear for me: I have to came back to Melbourne!! Its so beautiful and i love that it is not as busy as Sydney.
From there we went straight to Sydney. I really like Sydney, its impressive, but Melbourne still has my heart. From Sydney we went to Bryon Bay for a day/night, then Surfers Paradise and than to Brisbane. In Brisbane we stayed almost a week but it was a mistake from our travel agent because we actually wanted to stay in Melbourne this amount of days not Brisbane. But it was nice anyway, we did a lot of pub crawling hehe.
From there we drove to Rainbow Beach & Fraser Island. Fraser Island was quite an experience. After that we were going to Airlie Beach & Whitsunday Island where we did a cruise for 2 days and 2 nights. This was probably my favorite trip within this whole road trip. I mean Whitsundays are heaven on earth. I never been to a more beautiful beach. From there we went to Cairns our last stop of this road trip. In Cairns we visited the rainforest for a day and i did my diving license (yaaaay!!).
